PPC’s BPM Test Drive Methodology
Planning and Preparation
Your BPM Test Drive starts with a one-day scoping workshop to define the scope, deliverables, success criteria, the team, target users, and a project plan. Afterwards, we finalize legal agreements, secure team members, install the software, and prepare the environment for development. We also introduce your team members to key BPM concepts and components through a half-day classroom training session.
Execution
The Test Drive Execution stage typically lasts two weeks. During this time, we develop an executable BPM process that you, as our project sponsor, have identified. Using AquaLogic BPM, we model the identified business process in collaborative sessions and validate the logic, business rules, notifications, and form components. After completing the collaborative modeling sessions, we develop interactive forms and integrate them into the process. Upon conclusion, we present the solution to project sponsors and target end-users for feedback.
Follow-up
Based on feedback from project stakeholders, we document findings, including ROI for business users and IT, and prepare a preliminary production BPM implementation plan and budget.
