Ivette Granier-Smith

Vice President and Director of Business Development

Since joining Project Performance Corporation in 2003, Ms. Granier-Smith has overseen some of the Company’s largest projects, including its subcontract to Boeing supporting the Transportation Security Administration in the planning, installation, and management of airport baggage screening/bomb detection equipment.  

In addition to helping manage and grow the company’s federal business, Ms. Granier-Smith has served as a corporate mentor in program management and business development. She helped start a Capability Maturity Model (CMM) program that resulted in the Company’s independent certification at CMMI Level 2; assisted in establishing a culture of quality-driven best practices in program management and business development; and recruited top talent for both IT and corporate positions.  

Prior to joining Project Performance Corporation, Ms. Granier-Smith worked more than 20 years for AT&T Government Solutions Inc. and its acquired firm, GRCI. She has held numerous leadership positions in program management and operations. As Vice President and Group Director for Combat Support Systems, she managed GRCI’s two largest programs, major Army systems and integration development engagements. She later served as Vice President of Business Development Operations, where she was responsible for day-to-day operations, including opportunity tracking, proposal development, and strategic partnership planning.  

With more than 23 years of experience in leadership positions, Ms. Granier-Smith is a recognized leader in the government IT community. She participates in several industry and government associations, including the Industry Advisory Council (IAC), Association for Federal Information Resource Managers, and Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association. She has twice co-chaired the IAC Partners Program, a professional development program for government and industry executives. Her industry involvement gives her unique insight into the issues facing government and into the solutions and best practices that can assist agencies.
