Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change – E-Learning
Business Objective:
Create a first of its kind “e-Learning” website to capture summary and specific quantitative information from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s 2001 Report, Third Assessment Report: Climate Change 2001.
Solution:
PPC developed an animation-enhanced website that captured summary information for each scenario detailed in the IPCC report. In addition, screens were built to highlight quantitative data and also to illustrate impacts on a landscape.
Project Details:
• Section 508 compliant
• Feature-rich interactive user interface developed with Macromedia Flash.
Project Results:
• Deployed a successful e-learning website tool, exploiting the latest advances in website animation technology.
• The project successfully summarized summary, quantitative, and qualitative information from a 500+ page technical report into an interactive website.
